Winter in Sölden

Skiing & Adventure Off Piste

Skiing

Winter in Sölden is all about the two boards that mean the world. 144 kilometers of slopes, 2 glaciers, 31 modern mountain railroads and 3 three-thousand-meter peaks accessible by lift instantly make the hearts of all skiers and snowboarders beat faster. The glacier ski area is already open from autumn and is in season until May. The ski area extends up to 3,250 meters and is even home to a World Cup slope, on which the ski stars race down the mountain every year in October. The gastronomy on the mountain is also first class. Those in need of refreshment before, between or after skiing can choose between upscale cuisine (for example, at ice Q) or traditional fare at the numerous huts in the ski area.

Off the slopes

Even off the slopes there is a lot going on in Sölden. Have fun on one of the longest toboggan runs in Austria, which is also open in the evening once a week. Or trudge through the snow-covered landscape on a snowshoe hike. Cross-country skiers and ski tourers will also find many opportunities around Sölden to really let off steam. If you are not yet tired after so much sport and fresh air, you will find a great gastronomy and party offer in Sölden.
